Zendaya Dazzles in Iconic Bob Mackie Dress Honoring Cher at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

At the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 19, 2024, Zendaya paid tribute to Cher by donning a stunning vintage Bob Mackie gown. The star of Euphoria graced the red carpet at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse wearing a dazzling piece from Mackie’s Fall 2001 ‘Foreign Intrigue’ collection.

The enchanting gown boasted a sheer golden fabric featuring a twisted halterneck design and an open bodice secured with golden straps crisscrossing over her midsection. The low-rise skirt showcased her toned hips and had an eye-catching high slit down the middle.

To enhance her look, she paired the intricately beaded gown with a luxurious white silk-satin trench coat, which was accented with golden embroidered lines along the collar and cuffs. Completing the ensemble, Zendaya accessorized with Christian Louboutin’s So Kate golden pumps, sculpted cuffs, and a hint of blush makeup.

In a nod to the musical legend, she styled her long hair with a middle part, mimicking Cher’s iconic slicked-back hairstyle. Zendaya’s breathtaking look was expertly curated by her stylist, Law Roach.

“Where do I even begin? Cher is not one person. Her name is just as legendary as her legacy.”

Dressed in an all-black ensemble, Cher captivated the audience with a lively rendition of her classic track, If I Could Turn Back Time.

Zendaya’s choice to wear a Mackie creation was a fitting homage to Cher, who has been the designer’s muse since the 1960s. Mackie crafted many iconic outfits for Cher during her time on The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour and The Cher Show, creating some of the most memorable fashion moments.
