British actress Lashana Lynch and her spouse, Zackary Momoh, are thrilled to be expecting their first child together. The happy news was revealed by Lashana herself as she proudly displayed her baby bump during the premiere of her latest television series, The Day of the Jackal, held in New York City on October 17.

At this glamorous event, she captivated onlookers in a stylish sleeveless dress that featured eye-catching cutouts and a striking leopard print design on the sides and bottom, complemented by a chic T-shirt and tie print on the bodice. Completing her ensemble, Lashana opted for elegant Louboutin shoes and simple gold hoop earrings.

Zackary Momoh, Lashana Lynch’s husband, is also an accomplished actor, born in July 1988. Before rising to fame, he honed his skills in theater and made his film debut in A United Kingdom (2016). He has since gained recognition for his roles in the Netflix drama Seven Seconds (2018) and the HBO series The Nevers (2021).

Originally from the Borough of Lambeth in South London, Zackary Momoh carved out a successful acting career on the British stage before transitioning to film and television. During his college years, where he was studying business marketing, he attended the Identity Drama School of Acting for training, fueling his passion for acting.

Zackary dedicated himself to refining his craft and secured representation, marking a pivotal moment in his journey as an actor. While he initially concentrated on stage performances, he made his small-screen debut in 2011 with a guest role on Holby City.

In 2013, he was selected to understudy Adrien Lester in a National Theatre production while performing in Othello at a smaller venue in South London. Following his appearance in From Morning to Midnight at the National Theatre, Zackary starred alongside Robert Sean Leonard in the 2015 adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird at the Barbican.

Afterward, Momoh made a deliberate shift towards film, stepping back from theater work to pursue roles in television and movies. This led to his recurring role as Manni on No Offense in 2015. In 2018, he made his mark in American television with the thought-provoking Netflix thriller Seven Seconds, which delved into the challenges of racial tensions.

His portfolio grew with significant roles in notable productions, including the Harriet Tubman biopic Harriet (2019) and the action-packed The Kill Team (2019) alongside Alexander Skarsgard, before joining the cast of the much-anticipated Joss Whedon series The Nevers (2020).

On February 23, 2018, Zackary reflected on his passion for performance during an interview with The Italian Reve, stating,

“I’ve always had a desire to perform. In childhood, I was involved in talent shows, engaging in both acting and dancing. My ambition was clear: I wanted to act professionally. It was about finding my path, whether it paid well or not; performing was paramount.”

He further elaborated on the type of characters he aspires to play, saying,

“I aim for lead roles in films that stir thoughtful conversations about relationships, whether familial or romantic. I seek out roles that evoke deep emotions in both myself and the audience.”
