D3 Publisher has officially announced the global release of Yuke’s Full Metal Schoolgirl, an exhilarating game featuring cyborg schoolgirls on a mission to confront the ethically questionable employer, Meternal Jobz. Set to debut on October 23, 2025, the game will be available on multiple platforms, including Switch 2, PS5, and PC. This title marks a collaboration with the developers behind the popular Earth Defense Force series, and it includes references to the OneeChanbara franchise. Players who pre-order the game will receive complimentary DLC outfits inspired by OneeChanbara characters Aya and Saki for the protagonists, Akemi and Ryoko, as detailed on the PlayStation Blog.
The Game’s Unique Premise
Full Metal Schoolgirl presents an alternate reality in which a nefarious corporation, Meternal Jobz, has established dominance in Japan, creating a toxic work environment that affects not just its employees but the entire nation. Players will embody two schoolgirls, Akemi and Ryoko, who take on the formidable task of infiltrating the company’s towering 100-story headquarters. Their goal? To confront the CEO and “fire” them from their position.
Gameplay Features
roguelike elements, allowing players to discover various weapons and modifications (MODs) that enhance their capabilities as they battle numerous adversaries. However, it’s crucial to note that if players succumb to defeat, they will lose all progress aside from collected materials and in-game currency, requiring them to restart at the beginning of the tower.
