Travel Troubles Due to Galaxy Ring’s Worrying Malfunction

In his updates, Daniel posted images demonstrating the alarming expansion of his device’s battery. The swelling had effectively secured the Galaxy Ring to his finger, prompting responses from concerned users. One commenter shared a similar experience with her Oura smart ring, which ultimately required a Dremel for removal. She advised Daniel to place a file between the ring and his skin to avoid injury and warned him against cutting the battery itself.

Samsung U. K.did reach out to Daniel via his Twitter thread, but this incident may have further complicated Samsung’s already troubled reputation following previous issues with the Galaxy Note 7. Fortunately, in this instance, the battery only swelled rather than exploded.
