On January 15, a report by the Korean media outlet Newsen confirmed that Sojang, known for operating the Taldeok Camp channel, received a suspended prison sentence of two years along with three years of probation. She was found guilty of both defamation and insult.

The court imposed a substantial penalty of ₩200 million (approximately $136,880) against Sojang, emphasizing that her actions caused irreparable harm to her victims and warranted a severe punishment.

Sojang has gained notoriety for her negative portrayals of various South Korean celebrities across her platform. Many of her videos have included slanderous remarks and unfounded accusations, reportedly netting her ₩250 million (approximately $171,100) during her controversial career.
