Kai Cenat, an influential American online streamer and content creator, has stirred up conversation by claiming to have had a role in Squid Game Season 2. During a live interaction with his fans, he confirmed his casting, stating, “Wait, I thought I told y’all.”He elaborated on his character’s fate, suggesting he survived and could make an appearance in Season 3. “Yes, n****, I was Guard #44,”he stated, humorously recalling a scene where he was “dumped over the steps”without being shot. This led to a flurry of playful comments from fans who were eager to review the series again to see if they had missed him.

The speculation surrounding Cenat’s casting began after a TikTok video went viral, showcasing a Google search that listed him as Guard 44, alongside other known characters like Gong Yoo’s The Recruiter and Jo Yu-ri as Player 222, Kim Jun-hee. However, it’s important to clarify that guards in the series are typically denoted by the shapes on their masks rather than numerical designations. Season 2 prominently featured Guard 11, played by Park Gyu-young, who plays a significant role as a gunner during the red light, green light game.

It appears that Cenat’s announcement might have been more of a lighthearted tease than a serious claim. His enthusiasm for Squid Game is well-documented; he has engaged with the series through various gaming platforms, including Roblox, producing multiple videos that reflect his affection for the show’s themes. Additionally, the original TikTok showing him as part of the cast seems to have been manipulated, as the information is no longer available on Google when searched today.
