The TikTok video opens with Dua Lipa and her friends dining in a restaurant where she begins by pouring a can of Diet Coke. However, the addition of her unusual ingredients ignited a flurry of reactions online.

Dua mixed in pickle juice with the fizzy beverage and enhanced it further with a hearty splash of jalapeno sauce. Following that, she gave the mixture a vigorous shake to ensure everything blended well. Viewers also spotted slices of pickles and jalapenos perched atop her drink.

The singer sampled her creation and had her friends join in for a taste test. While some enjoyed the peculiar mix, others described it as “overwhelmingly pickly.”

Now, Gordon Ramsay took it upon himself to try out this viral drink in his own TikTok segment, asserting that he needed to experience this concoction firsthand.

“Honestly,” he remarked before taking a sip, only to spit it out almost immediately.

“For crying out loud, Dua Lipa! You might damage your vocal cords! What in the world?!” a visibly shocked Gordon Ramsay exclaimed, struggling to regain composure.

The recipe gained popularity, inspiring millions of her fans worldwide to test the combination. Initially met with skepticism, it quickly transformed into a sought-after dessert thanks to social media attention.

Interestingly, the idea of drizzling olive oil over ice cream is not entirely new; it’s a traditional Italian delicacy often referred to as ‘gelato con olio e sale.’

In that same interview, Dua shared that she isn’t particularly fond of chocolate ice cream, favoring a chocolate bar instead. She candidly expressed her preferences to Greg James:

“I just don’t understand the appeal of chocolate ice cream. It’s not the fault of the ice cream itself—I adore pistachio and hazelnut ice creams, but chocolate just feels so dense and rich to me.”
