“Y’all Don’t Even Know the Truth” — XXXTentacion’s Killer Michael Boatwright Claims in Recent Statement

Michael Boatwright, accused of murdering rapper XXXTentacion, purportedly issued a statement in which he declined to offer an apology, asserting he is “not this evil person.” DJ Akademiks shared this update on X, revealing that Michael, who remains incarcerated, expressed:

“Y’all just judge me off this one thing y’all know bout me but y’all don’t even know the truth behind all this, I’m not this evil person that everybody think I am and nobody even know me as a person y’all believe in everything u see on social media, I’m not sorry for nothing I did. #itsstillfreeme.”

To recap, XXXTentacion was tragically shot and killed on June 18, 2018, at the young age of 20. He lost his life during a robbery orchestrated by Boatwright and three accomplices: Trayvon Newsome, Dedrick Williams, and Robert Allen.

Allen has since pleaded guilty to robbery, accepting a plea agreement and providing testimony against the other suspects.

The authenticity of the statement circulated by DJ Akademiks has yet to be verified, as Boatwright is currently serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole, along with an additional 30 years for other related offenses. Yet, this alleged post continues to capture public attention.

Controversies Unfolding: Boatwright’s Mockery of XXXTentacion’s Young Son

Since the passing of XXXTentacion, Michael Boatwright has been entangled in numerous controversies concerning the rapper’s family.

According to reports from Hip Hop DX, Boatwright ridiculed the deceased artist’s five-year-old son on social media. He uploaded an Instagram story featuring images of his late father, punctuating the post with laughing-crying emojis.

This unsettling incident escalated as he later posted a screenshot showing who viewed his story, which included the name of the rapper’s son’s mother, Jenesis Sanchez.

In response to the backlash, Boatwright commented:

“She’s watching.”

As online users expressed outrage over Boatwright’s posts, many raised concerns about how he was able to update social media while incarcerated, suggesting it could be someone else managing his account.

Regarding the circumstances of XXXTentacion’s murder, an article from XXL Magazine reported in 2018 that he was shot while leaving a Bank of America after withdrawing cash. Tragically, he was pursued by the four suspects in an SUV on his way to RIVA Motorsports.

Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, widely known as XXXTentacion, gained recognition for his albums, including 17,? , Skins, and Bad Vibes Forever. He received numerous accolades throughout his career, including wins at the American Music Awards and BET Hip-Hop Awards, with his album 17 earning a nomination for the Billboard Music Awards in 2018.
