XMG has launched multiple configurations of its flagship NEO 16 gaming laptop, now featuring high-performance Intel and AMD processors, such as the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, aimed at enthusiastic gamers and professionals alike.
Pre-Order the Cutting-Edge XMG NEO 16: Pricing and Availability
Following its introduction at CES, the XMG NEO 16 gaming laptop is now available for pre-order. This latest iteration includes enhanced configurations featuring the powerful AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX and its boost variant, the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, commonly dubbed “Fire Range.”
The addition of the AMD Fire Range CPUs significantly boosts gaming performance, particularly with the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, which includes an expanded L3 cache. The NEO 16 will offer various configurations that feature the latest RTX 50 series GPUs, including options for the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 Ti.

The graphics options are designed to provide maximum efficiency, with the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 configured to deliver up to 175W of total graphics power (TGP), while the RTX 5070 Ti tops out at 140W. The variant featuring the RTX 5090 along with the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D promises to be the fastest setup in the current market, equipped with 24 GB of VRAM to handle demanding AAA titles and hefty graphical tasks.
XMG has also refined the cooling system of the NEO 16. The revamped XMG OASIS water cooling system ensures optimal thermal performance, employing larger copper heat sinks and enhanced copper heat pipes for improved heat dissipation. The fans have been upgraded as well, with the 60mm units replaced by new 80mm fans, plus an additional 47mm fan to cool the system RAM effectively.

Display Options and Specs
The NEO 16 provides two impressive 16:10 display choices. Gamers can opt for a 300 Hz IPS panel featuring a 1600p resolution, or choose a premium Mini LED variant that also delivers 1600p but offers double the brightness—1000 nits in HDR as opposed to 500 nits in the IPS panel. Both display options promise a 100% sRGB color space, while the Mini LED panel also supports 100% DCI-P3, ensuring vibrant and accurate color reproduction.

Additional specifications include support for up to 96 GB of RAM, with PCI-E 5.0 compatibility for M.2 SSDs, accommodating drives up to 8 TB. While the default maximum RAM is capped at 96 GB, XMG has indicated that this could extend to 128 GB in future configurations. Connectivity options abound, featuring a 2.5G LAN port and multiple USB ports, including Type A and C, along with various display outputs.
Pricing Structure
The starting price for the XMG NEO 16 (both E25 and A25 models) is set at €2, 699 for Intel variants and €2, 649 for AMD options. These prices are for base models equipped with the RTX 5070 Ti, with additional charges of €595 for the RTX 5080 and €1, 450 for the RTX 5090.
Pre-orders are currently open through Best Ware, where customers can customize their configurations. Shipping is anticipated to commence in April, subject to NVIDIA’s embargo.
