Xiaomi Mi Band 7 with GPS coming soon

Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro is coming. With GPS!

Last week, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 finally saw the light of day, with a slightly larger and slightly brighter screen, slightly longer battery life, and slightly more apps on board. Unfortunately, it did not have what many hoped for, namely the built-in GPS module. But perhaps not all is lost.

There are more and more reports on the network that the Chinese plan to soon introduce the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro, an improved version of the bracelet, the main advantage of which will be the built-in GPS. This allows you to accurately measure distance and pace or save routes without taking your smartphone with you. The version marked “Pro” would also have a larger battery, meaning it would simply provide more run time on a single charge.

There would be nothing strange in such an additional, improved version. After all, a similar situation was last year – the base “six” was a small step forward, and a few months later the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 NFC model appeared, adding the long-awaited contactless payment module. Will we have a repeat? This is very likely. According to the latest rumors, we will see it during the presentation of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra smartphone – already in the summer.

Is there a GPS bracelet?

GPS wristbands are rare, so that would be very important. Currently, the only specific smart bracelets equipped with a location module are the new models from the Fitbit Charge and Huawei Band series with the Note Pro.
