XBOX Showcases Lineup for Gamescom 2025

XBOX has unveiled an exciting lineup for Gamescom 2025, highlighting over 20 games that will be spotlighted during two days of live broadcasts. Attendees at the venue will also get their first chance to experience hands-on gameplay of the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, as well as a playable demo of the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong.

First Look at Hollow Knight: Silksong

The presence of Hollow Knight: Silksong marks a significant moment for fans, as this will be the first major opportunity to engage with the game since its announcement in 2019. Developed by the small but dedicated Team Cherry, the game has been in the works for several years. While an official release date has yet to be confirmed, indications suggest a launch within 2025, especially with a playable version scheduled to be featured in an Australian museum this September.

Highlighting First-Party Titles

In addition to first looks at new games, XBOX will showcase multiple first-party titles within its booth at Gamescom. Notable mentions include the upcoming Order of Giants DLC for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, set to release on September 4, 2025. Also making an appearance will be the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, featuring a new city update, as well as Grounded 2. For those unable to attend, Grounded 2 will be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers starting tomorrow from the comfort of their homes.

Broadcast Schedule

XBOX will host two days of broadcasts, both kicking off at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM BST / 3 PM CEST. The first broadcast on Wednesday, August 20, will feature highlights such as the ROG Xbox Ally handhelds, Grounded 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The following day, Thursday, August 21, will spotlight upcoming titles including Ninja Gaiden 4, Overwatch 2, and The Outer Worlds 2.
