The most recent Xbox Partner Preview has concluded, unveiling an exciting array of game announcements, trailers, and fresh updates for future releases. A highlight was the announcement that Alan Wake 2: The Lake House will launch on October 22, alongside exciting reveals for Subnautica 2 and Remedy’s forthcoming multiplayer title, FBC: Firebreak.
But the announcements didn’t stop there; two games introduced during the Xbox Partner Preview are currently playable.
Blindfire – Playable Now
From developer Double Eleven comes a multiplayer first-person shooter set in dimly lit environments where players must utilize their other senses, weapons, resources, and skills to defeat foes. This early access version is available now on Xbox Series X|S and Windows via Xbox Game Preview.
Animal Well – Available on Xbox
Another title currently accessible for Xbox users is Animal Well, a Metrovania-style game that launched earlier this year on PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
Cronos: The New Dawn
The Bloober Team, known for the recent Silent Hill 2 remake, is set to deliver an original horror experience in 2025, taking players through 1980s Poland and a post-apocalyptic landscape that promises plenty of scares.
The Legend of Baboo
This newly announced action-adventure title, launching for Xbox consoles in 2025, features a third-person perspective.
Mistfall Hunter
Set in the aftermath of the mythical Norse event Ragnarök, Mistfall Hunter is a third-person action RPG. Scheduled for release on both Xbox and PC, gamers can register for its upcoming open beta.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii – New Trailer and Release Date
A new trailer showcased naval combat mechanics in the latest installment of the Like a Dragon series, which will be available on February 21, 2025.
Edens Zero
This action RPG, inspired by the renowned manga by Hiro Mashima, is set to arrive on Xbox and PC in 2025.
Eternal Strands
Coming in early 2025, this fantasy action-adventure title invites players to battle massive foes and will also be a Day One launch on Xbox Game Pass.
Mouse: P.I. – Confirmed for Xbox
The previously revealed first-person shooter set in a 1930s black-and-white cartoon world received an updated trailer and confirmation for Xbox launch.

Wheel World
Formerly known as Ghost Ride, this unique take on bicycling is slated for Xbox and PC in early 2025, launching as a Day One title on Xbox Game Pass.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
A new trailer has been revealed for this fantasy Souls-like game set in ancient China, which will be available on Xbox and PC in 2025, also launching on Xbox Game Pass as a Day One title.
