Xbox Game Pass Welcomes New Addition: Third Game for February 2025

Overview of Recent Xbox Game Pass Additions

  • Kingdom Two Crowns is now available on Xbox Game Pass as of February 13, 2025.
  • This strategic side-scrolling game marks the third installment added to Microsoft’s subscription platform this month.
  • Anticipation builds for the next Xbox Game Pass announcement, set to occur on February 18 – coinciding with the launch of Avowed.

Xbox Game Pass continues to enhance its library with the addition of Kingdom Two Crowns. As of February 2025, this title becomes the 16th release since the beginning of the year and the third for the month of February alone.

Created by Thomas van den Berg in partnership with Coatsink, Kingdom Two Crowns is the third entry in the acclaimed Kingdom series, known for its unique side-scrolling strategy mechanics. Initially released for PC and consoles in December 2018, it later expanded to Android and iOS platforms in April 2020.

Xbox Game Pass members can dive into this 2018 title beginning on February 13. Since it’s not a day-one launch, it is accessible across all tiers of Xbox Game Pass, except for the rarely updated Xbox Game Pass Core. Although this marks its first time in the Xbox Games Pass, Kingdom Two Crowns was available through Xbox Games with Gold from November to December 2021 before the service was transitioned to Xbox Game Pass Core in September 2023.
