Xbox Game Pass September Lineup: Highlights and New Releases

Microsoft has revealed the exciting new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for the month of September. Among the six games confirmed for this wave, the standout title is undoubtedly Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Anticipation for Hollow Knight: Silksong

This eagerly awaited Metroidvania game from Team Cherry has been on fans’ radar for nearly six years. After much speculation and anticipation, it finally received a release date last month, and it will be available this week. The lengthy development process can be attributed to the developer’s commitment to enhancing the game with additional content and extensive bug fixes, emphasizing that the delay was not due to any management challenges. Those interested can find more detailed information about the release here.

Upcoming Titles for Xbox Game Pass

Here’s the complete list of games that will be added to Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming:

  • I Am Your Beast (Available now on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S)
  • Nine Sols (Arrives September 3 for Xbox Series X|S)
  • Hollow Knight: Silksong (Debuts September 4 on Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Cataclismo (Releasing September 4 on PC)

  • RoadCraft (Coming September 16 to Cloud and Xbox Series X|S)

Notably, Hollow Knight: Silksong will be available as a day-one release for Game Pass subscribers in this release wave.

Game Removals and Changes

As new titles join the Game Pass library, three existing games will be leaving the service. Starting September 15, All You Need is Help, Wargroove 2, and We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie will no longer be available on Microsoft’s console, PC, and cloud subscriptions. However, these games will still be purchasable through the Microsoft Store.

Exciting Expansion of Cloud Gaming

In addition to these updates, it’s worth noting that Xbox Cloud Gaming is breaking away from its exclusivity to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Users with Xbox Game Pass Core or Standard can now access the cloud gaming service ahead of the anticipated public rollout, making gaming more accessible than ever.
