Major Updates to Xbox Game Pass Subscriptions
Today, Microsoft unveiled significant revisions to its Xbox Game Pass subscription model, affecting both the Core and Standard tiers, while also making Xbox Cloud Gaming available beyond its beta phase. Notably, the Ultimate tier subscription has undergone a substantial price increase. Alongside these changes, a remarkable expansion of the Game Pass library has occurred, with Ultimate subscribers gaining access to nearly 50 new games starting today.
What’s New in Xbox Game Pass?
Among the most exciting additions to the Game Pass library is the inclusion of the Ubisoft+ Classics catalog, now available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. This inclusion mirrors the benefits provided by EA Play, allowing players to enjoy a curated selection of Ubisoft titles without the need for an additional premium subscription, which typically costs $7.99 per platform.
Among the anticipated titles, Hogwarts Legacy stands out as the most notable new addition to the platform. This popular open-world action RPG from Warner Bros.allows players to immerse themselves in the magical universe of Hogwarts.
