Microsoft Revives the Xbox Design Lab: Custom Controllers are Back!
Launched in 2016, Xbox Design Lab has provided gamers the exciting opportunity to craft their own personalized Xbox controllers. This innovative program has gained significant popularity over the years, with Microsoft regularly introducing fresh aesthetics for a variety of controllers and accessories. After a lengthy hiatus, the Design Lab website has officially made its comeback.
Transition and Relaunch
For nearly eight months, the Xbox Design Lab website was temporarily inaccessible, accompanied by a notice indicating a change in payment processors. Now, following the successful completion of that transition, Microsoft has successfully relaunched the Design Lab portal:

While the return of the Design Lab is certainly exciting, it’s important to note that the overall structure of the portal remains largely unchanged. Previously, the Xbox Gear Shop offered a range of gaming merchandise including branded items such as shirts, hats, pins, and collectible figures.
