The latest Beta ring update, designated as 2504.250320-2200, has introduced several enhancements to enrich the user experience.

New Features

One of the standout features in this update is the revamped storage management tool within My Games & Apps.users can now enjoy a more efficient process for reclaiming storage space. Instead of just listing leftover add-ons or compressible games, the system will now offer personalized suggestions like deleting redundant files or games that are no longer accessible. Navigate to My Games & Apps > Manage > Free Up Space to explore this feature.

Fixes Addressed in the Beta Update

Thanks to valuable feedback from Xbox Insiders and the diligent work of Xbox engineers, this update includes the following repairs:

  • Resolved an issue where the Share option icon was missing in the context menu for capturing from the Xbox network in the Captures app.

  • Fixed unexpected errors encountered when installing games that had both Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One versions, which wrongly indicated compatibility issues.

TV & Display Options

  • Resolved an issue where Dolby Vision for Gaming was not detected by the console when connected to compatible displays that implement the latest Dolby Vision version.

These updates are accessible to all Xbox Insiders who are part of the Beta or Delta program. To qualify for the Delta ring, users need to be Xbox Insiders for at least a month and achieve Level 2 or higher.
