WWE star Sami Zayn announces upcoming appearance on Netflix show
Sami Zayn, who is currently signed to WWE, is widely recognized as one of the most beloved stars. He was also a prominent figure in last year’s WrestleMania. This weekend, he is scheduled to face off against Intercontinental Champion Gunther, who is currently on a remarkable 660-day-plus reign.
After breaking The Usos’ record-breaking 622-day tag team title reign in 2023, Sami has set his sights on repeating this feat in 2024. While winning on The Grandest Stage is never a guaranteed outcome, one thing that is certain is his appearance on an upcoming Netflix show.
During a conversation with X, Zayn revealed that he is set to perform at the Netflix Is A Joke live comedy show in Avalon, Los Angeles on May 11. Titled “Netflix Is A Joke Presents: Sami Zayn & Friends,”the show tickets will be released on April 4th through Ticketmaster.

The Impact of Sami Zayn on Solo Sikoa’s Character in WWE
Despite the fact that WWE shows are broadcasted live with no retakes, the athletes are expected to stay in character throughout the entire program. However, some stars struggle to maintain their character, especially when faced with someone who enjoys making jokes. Sami Zayn, known as the “Honorary Uce”of The Bloodline, frequently delivered humorous performances.

During a late 2022 interview with the New York Post, Solo Sikoa confessed that it is often challenging to maintain a serious expression when in the presence of the former WrestleMania main eventer.
“It’s hard man. We’re sitting in the back and we’re going over our stuff and I need to tell Sami, ‘Hey, I think you need to warn me before … I need to know what you’re saying, exactly what you’re saying so I can prepare myself because it’s getting harder and harder every week. I feel like you’re just trying to get me to crack on purpose.’”
The 31-year-old wrestler from the WWE went on to say:
“One time he told me, ‘One of these days on live TV I’m gonna get you to crack. I don’t know when it’s gonna be, but it’s gonna be soon.’ House shows are even harder because you’re just free out there, right? Man, he’s gotten me a couple of times where I’ve kind of had to put my head down,”Solo Sikoa said.
Sami’s talent for comedy has been evident since his time as a member of The Bloodline and even during his segments with Brock Lesnar in late 2021. Congratulations to Zayn on landing his new gig!
