WWE Road to WrestleMania Results: Current champion suffers loss, Cody Rhodes defeats his former tag partner, Rhea Ripley in action (Syracuse, 03/31)

On Sunday, March 31, WWE held its second house show of the week in Syracuse, New York. The show showcased several title matches and included appearances by popular wrestlers from both RAW and SmackDown.

LA Knight began the eventful evening with a one-on-one match against Solo Sikoa. These two have previously battled it out multiple times on the live circuit in recent months, with Knight emerging victorious each time. The trend continued this weekend as The Megastar dealt another defeat to Sikoa.

After the match, Gunther successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal Four-Way against Jey Uso, Dominik Mysterio, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Additionally, Finn Balor and Damian Priest retained their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against The New Day’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.

In the following matches, Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate emerged victorious over Pretty Deadly, while Rhea Ripley emerged as the winner in the Triple Threat Women’s World Championship match against Shayna Baszler and Natalya. Additionally, Omos was in action in Syracuse and secured a victory over Odyssey Jones in a one-on-one match.

The event also included a six-woman tag team match, where Bianca Belair teamed up with Michin and Zelina Vega to emerge victorious against Dakota Kai, IYO WeY, and Kairi Sane.

The main event featured Cody Rhodes, who went up against his former ally Drew McIntyre in a Street Fight. In the end, the American Nightmare emerged as the winner, bringing an end to the night’s proceedings.
