WWE officially confirms injury to Judgment Day member one week before WrestleMania; confirms how he was hurt on RAW
A member of Judgment Day suffers an injury just one week prior to WrestleMania, which has now been officially confirmed during WWE RAW.
During the latest episode of RAW, The New Day and DIY joined forces to take on The Judgment Day in a highly anticipated tag team match. During the match, Finn Balor was seen with a noticeable knot on his head, which he had posted about on social media the night before, simply referring to it as an “Easter Egg.”Despite the swelling on his forehead, the cause of the injury was unknown and it was unclear if it occurred during the match or beforehand.
Despite the star’s injury prior to WrestleMania, there were worries about his availability for the title match at The Show of Shows. However, given his appearance on RAW tonight, it can be assured that he will also be able to compete at WrestleMania 40.
WWE confirmed his injury, stating that he had sustained a swollen forehead during his match at a live event in Syracuse, New York. The commentary team also addressed the injury, attributing it to his match against The New Day.
Triple H has officially announced that The Judgment Day will put their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title on the line in a Six-Pack Ladder match against five other teams on the first night of WrestleMania.
