WWE legend must return after 734 days at WrestleMania to have a segment with two stars Triple H may remove from the card
Despite WrestleMania being just days away, Triple H still has the power to make significant alterations to the upcoming major WWE event. While there is potential for additional stars to be included on the card, others may have different intentions than initially anticipated.
During last week’s episode of SmackDown, Grayson Waller emerged victorious in a match against the Street Profits, earning a spot in the Six-Pack Ladder Match at WrestleMania XL for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. However, there have been rumors circulating that the Street Profits may be replaced in the match. In that scenario, it is possible that Triple H may have them take on a different role in the event, potentially even involving the iconic Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Recent reports have revealed that the company may have a surprise in store for the event, with a potential appearance by John Cena or another superstar in a “mystery slot”. If Triple H does decide to remove the SmackDown duo from their match, they could potentially fill the slot with a segment featuring the Grayson Waller Effect.
Despite being in the middle of the match, Austin and Grayson decided to declare their superiority and skip the competition. They planned to use their time to discuss each other instead. However, Stone Cold Steve Austin unexpectedly interrupted their segment.
There is speculation that The Rattlesnake may make an appearance at the event, possibly in the same segment as Austin. This is due to their previous encounter at WrestleMania 38, where they crossed paths after Theory’s match against Pat McAfee.
Similarly, the Hall of Famer may have felt disrespected by Grayson’s decision to drink beer from his shoes instead of directly from the can, a nod to their past experience at the Elimination Chamber. Alternatively, Waller may have chosen to stand by and watch as his partner was attacked, similar to his behavior at the Australia Premium Live Event.
What other ways might Stone Cold Steve Austin make an appearance at WWE WrestleMania XL?
Following the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, numerous fans were convinced that Stone Cold would make a comeback at WrestleMania, as the company had seemingly dropped a hint.
During the final moments of RAW, The Rock was shown launching a vicious assault on Cody Rhodes in the backstage parking lot of the arena. The production truck prominently displayed the faces of Steve and John Cena during their altercation.
The addition of The Rock to The Bloodline’s storyline raises the possibility of The Rattlesnake being involved in Rhodes vs. Reigns, considering his past with The Brahma Bull. Additionally, Cena and Roman are familiar with each other.
What can fans expect from the last WWE RAW before WrestleMania?
As of today, two tag team matches have been confirmed for the April 1, 2024 episode of RAW. Additionally, fans can expect to see highly-anticipated appearances from The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and many other top stars.
The upcoming WrestleMania event promises to be exciting with Triple H and the rest of WWE showcasing their plans for the event. It will be fascinating to see what else they have in store for us.
