WWE 2K25 Patch 1.03: Updates and Fixes
The development team behind WWE 2K25 has swiftly rolled out a new update, Patch 1.03, just a day after players with early access explored the game. While this update does not introduce new content, it significantly boosts overall stability and performance, responding to various player concerns across multiple game modes.
Access and Players’ Experiences
Although the Standard Edition of WWE 2K25 isn’t scheduled to launch until March 14, those who opted for the premium Deadman and Bloodline editions have enjoyed access since midnight on March 7. In the short time since release, the game has sparked varied reactions within the community, with players engaging in discussions on online forums. Some laud the exciting new features—including high-flying moves from the barricade and the detailed visual representation of body damage—while others express frustrations about bugs and crashes impacting gameplay in various modes, especially during matches or when using Create-a-Superstar tools.
Patch Details and Fixes
While the patch notes lack extensive details on resolved issues, it’s clear the update targets a wide array of game modes based on player feedback. For instance, MyRise mode players reported exceeding the 100 overall rating cap and experiencing unresponsive AI during live events, both of which are now addressed. Similarly, issues within MyFaction—such as incorrect match duration records and settings conflicts—have been targeted for resolution through this patch.
Ongoing Issues in Universe Mode
Player reports also highlighted concerns in Universe Mode, particularly regarding the game’s ability to save progress upon exiting. Additionally, the absence of specific WWE 2K25 weapons at ringside and bugs leading to duplicated wrestler portraits when paused have been acknowledged by the development team as areas needing attention.
Stability and Support Enhancements
This patch brings essential stability and performance enhancements to gameplay modes including The Island and MyFaction, as well as online matches and the Creation Suite. Notably, improvements have also been made in the Community Creations section, addressing facial recognition issues with the Create-a-Superstar tools and ensuring custom matches uphold player-selected rules.
