WWE 2K25 Guide: Adding Alternate Attires to Any Superstar

WWE 2K25 provides gamers with the exciting capability to customize the attires of all superstars on the roster. While acquiring or creating these alternate attires is fairly user-friendly, the process of utilizing them in matches can be somewhat perplexing. This guide aims to clarify how players can effectively use alternate attires in WWE 2K25.

It is important to note that alternate attires may not be accessible in all game modes. For instance, as of now, players are unable to have Jey Uso or CM Punk sporting alternate attires in the MyRise mode, although this may be addressed in future updates.

Acquiring Alternate Attires in WWE 2K25

To start using alternate attires, players must first acquire them. There are two primary avenues for obtaining these customizations:

1. Create Your Own

To create an alternate attire, navigate to the “Superstar” section within the Creations menu. Select the wrestler for whom you wish to design an alternate look, choose “Attire, ”pick the desired slot, and then modify it to your liking.

After completing your adjustments, confirm your changes by pressing “Accept”twice to return to the “Create Your Superstar”screen. From there, go to “Personal Information, ” and ensure “Use As Alternate Attire?” is set to “Yes.” Finally, press “Accept”again and select “Save and Complete”to finalize your attire.

By default, newly created alternate attires will be labeled as “Alt. Attire.” To personalize the name of the attire, follow these additional steps:

Set “Use As Alternate Attire?”to “No.”
Select “Name Information.”
Choose “Name, ”and input your preferred name for the attire.
Press “Accept”to return to the Personal Information menu.
Set “Use As Alternate Attire?”back to “Yes.”

2. Downloading From Community Creations

If players prefer to download alternate attires that others have created, they can easily do so by following these steps:

Select “Community Creations”from the Online menu.
Choose “Downloads.”
Click on “Superstars.”
Select a superstar and press “Download.”

Once a community-created superstar is downloaded, players should ensure it is set as an alternate attire by taking the following steps:

Select “Superstar”from the Creations menu.
Navigate to “Alternate Attire.”If the download appears there, it is already set as an alternate.
If it doesn’t show up, go to the “Superstars”tab.
Locate the downloaded superstar, select it, and click “Edit Superstar.”
Choose “Personal Information.”
Set “Use As Alternate Attire?”to “Yes.”

It’s crucial to remember that only attires designed for preset superstars can be used as alternate attires. This means that custom superstars created via the Superstar Creation feature may not be suitable for alternate attire use.

Utilizing Alternate Attires in WWE 2K25

The method of using alternate attires is contingent upon the game mode selected by players. Below are details on how to navigate this in various modes where it is possible:

Play Mode

When setting up a match in Play mode, simply select the superstar who has an alternate attire. Upon selection, all available attires will be displayed, allowing you to choose your preferred design.

Universe Mode

Superstar Mode

In the Superstar variant of Universe mode, players can select their chosen superstar’s attire before commencing a match. Click on “Edit Superstar, ” select “Attires, ”and pick the alternate attire you desire, followed by pressing “Save”to save your choices in the selected Universe save slot.

To change the opponent’s attire in a generated match, follow these steps:

Select “Roster”from the Extras menu.
Click “Edit Superstars.”
Find the opponent and select them.
Click “Attires, ”and choose their default attire.
Press “Save”and select the Universe save slot.
Select the opponent again.
Click “Attires, ”and choose the desired alternate attire.
Press “Save”and select the Universe save slot again.

After completing these steps, players should find their opponent sporting the selected alternate attire in the match. If this does not happen, it may require several attempts due to inconsistencies in this mode.

Classic Mode

In the Classic variant of Universe, the following steps can be taken to equip any superstar with an alternate attire:
