The anticipation surrounding WWE 2K25 continues to grow as the release date approaches. Fans are eager to uncover the details of the game’s DLC, which promises to include a range of unexpected wrestlers that are bound to captivate the audience.
At launch, WWE 2K25 will present the largest roster in the franchise’s history, featuring more than 300 distinct wrestlers. This impressive lineup will include alternate variants of popular characters as well as wrestlers who were recently released from WWE. Notably, the game will introduce two dozen wrestlers and managers who were absent in WWE 2K24, including Bloodline members Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa, along with notable names like Eric Rowan and current NXT Champion Oba Femi.
Producer Bryan Williams has expressed enthusiasm about the DLC characters slated for launch throughout 2025. In a recent interview with WrestleZone, he emphasized that while specific details about the DLC wrestlers are still under wraps, fans should stay tuned for surprising announcements.“We’re pushing the envelope, ”Williams noted.“Our goal is to create DLC that not only excites fans but also adds significant value to their gaming experience post-launch.”
WWE 2K25 DLC to Include Impressive Surprises

The DLC release cycle for last year’s WWE 2K24 consisted of five unique packs rolled out from May to November, with each pack generally including five new wrestlers, except the Global Superstars pack, which featured seven additional characters. Players also enjoyed various bonuses, including superstar cards for MyFACTION and the inclusion of legendary manager Jimmy Hart in one of the packs. Aside from the Season Pass roster, additional characters were made available through pre-order bonuses linked to the special Bray Wyatt Edition released in October.
Surprises were a hallmark of last year’s game as well, with shocking inclusions such as Post Malone, who contributed to the game’s soundtrack, and the Pat McAfee Pack, enlisting notables like Boston Connor and A. J.Hawk. Speculation abounds regarding WWE’s ongoing collaboration with TNA, raising expectations about potential roster crossover. For instance, Jordynne Grace, who joined WWE in late January, was unable to make it into WWE 2K25’s initial lineup despite her active appearance in WWE events while still under TNA contract. Meanwhile, current TNA World Champion Joe Hendry stunned fans during the recent Royal Rumble by making a brief but memorable appearance.
