Wuthering Waves Version 1.4 Update: New Gameplay Features, Quality of Life Improvements, and Additional Content

Kuro Games has announced exciting new features for the upcoming Wuthering Waves 1.4 update. The forthcoming patch will not only introduce novel gameplay elements but will also implement significant quality-of-life enhancements aimed at improving the player experience.

This article will provide a comprehensive overview of the key features showcased in the Developer’s Message concerning the Wuthering Waves 1.4 patch.

Overview of Features in the Wuthering Waves 1.4 Patch

New Gameplay Features and Events

Introducing Dream Link

The new Dream Link feature will debut during the main event of patch 1.4. This innovative ability enhances your combat capabilities by enabling your team to perform a powerful coordinated attack against adversaries, contingent upon meeting specific conditions.

Advanced Combat Mechanics: Illusive Sprint

In an exciting addition to the main event of Version 1.4, players will gain the ability to enter the Illusive Sprint phase by acquiring an item known as White Cat’s Blessing. This will notably boost the movement speed of your active resonator.

Furthermore, the new 4-star resonator, Lumi, will incorporate a similar interface, utilizing a dash technique instead of the traditional dodge to evade incoming damage. These captivating mechanics will persist in the game even after the event concludes.

New Cosmetic Features: Weapon Skins

Moreover, the patch will introduce stunning new weapon skins, some of which players can acquire for free. Notable skins include:

  • Sommonoire Anchor: Exclusive to the Sword weapon type, this skin can be obtained during the main event.
  • Formless: Achieved by completing the Illusive Realm challenge in patch 1.4, granting the ability to render your weapons invisible and applicable to all weapon types.

Fast Travel Mechanism

The update will also facilitate a fast travel option, allowing players to teleport directly to Tacet Fields, where they can earn Echoes, as well as to Overworld bosses for more efficient gameplay.

Echo System Enhancements

With the introduction of the patch, several enhancements to the echo system will take place, enabling auto-upgrades for echoes at various levels (5/10/15/20/25), thus conserving player resources. Additionally, echoes will display their sonata effects and base stats when absorbed from the environment.

User Interface Improvements
