The latest update, Version 2.1 of Wuthering Waves, introduces exciting new locations including Vault Underground and Riccioli Islands. These areas are teeming with hidden chests and intriguing challenges to captivate players. One standout challenge is the Dancer Hacking Echo Challenge, situated in the depths of Vault Underground, which is located beneath the Averardo Vault and serves as an extensive repository established by the Montelli Family.
Unlocking Vault Underground
Before players can embark on the Dancer Hacking Echo Challenges, they must complete the Exploration Quest titled Silent as a Falling Leaf. This quest automatically becomes available in the player’s quest log upon logging in after the release of Version 2.1. Vault Underground Dancer Hacking (Echo Challenge)
Dancer Hacking Location #1
The first Echo Challenge can be found on the second floor of the Precious Metals and Artworks Depository in Vault Underground. To begin, utilize the Resonance Beacon at the site, then enter the building. Ascend the main staircase while awaiting the circular vault door to unlock. Once through, make two right turns and proceed to the end of the corridor, passing a Chop Chop, to access the challenge.
Utilize the Montelli Clearance Module, acquired during the Silent as a Falling Leaf quest, to capture the kneeling Vitreum Dancer and gain control of it. Your objective will be to guide the Vitreum Dancer, which only travels in straight lines, under the lights to successfully complete the challenge. This gameplay element may remind players of the Pathfinder puzzles from Honkai: Star Rail. Completing this challenge rewards players with an Advanced Supply Chest.

Dancer Hacking Location #2
The second Dancer Hacking Echo Challenge can be found in the Unknown Vault Area, located in the northeastern section of Vault Underground. Begin at the Resonance Beacon situated in the top-right corner of the map and utilize the two Cuddle Wuddle Plushie Leaps to access the building to the west of the beacon. Proceed down the hallway until reaching a dormant Hurriclaw, then make a left turn to find the challenge concealed behind a set of automatic doors on the right.
