Wuthering Waves: Locations of Treasure Chests in the Vault Underground

Wuthering Waves: Locations of Treasure Chests in the Vault Underground

In the latest update of Wuthering Waves (version 2.1), a fascinating new region called Vault Underground has been introduced beneath the Averardo Vault. While the expansive map might suggest extensive exploration opportunities, players are primarily restricted to specific sites accessible via the Echo train. Nonetheless, developers have incorporated several Treasure Spots throughout this area, inviting players to uncover hidden treasure chests.

To unlock the Vault Underground area and illuminate the map, players must complete the Silent as a Falling Leaf Exploration Quest. As they progress, various sub-areas open up, and nearby Resonance Beacons become active. Within Vault Underground, adventurers can discover three distinct Treasure Spots that promise enticing rewards.

The intricate towers within Vault Underground resemble a vast maze, adorned with large rooms and multiple floors, all filled with numerous Echoes. The first Treasure Spot is specifically located on the third floor of the Precious Metals and Artwork Depository. Players should first teleport to the Resonance Beacon situated before the tower and enter the building.

After entering the Precious Metals and Artwork Depository, head left to find a functioning elevator that will take you to the third floor. Upon arrival, ascend the stairs leading north, and players will eventually arrive at the Treasure Spot. Expect to encounter various enemy groups along this journey; players can choose to engage or bypass them as they see fit.

Within the Treasure Spot room, players will encounter several mobs, making it advisable to clear them out first due to the confined space, which can lead to unavoidable combat. Here is a list of the four treasure chests available in this area:

  1. The first chest is positioned to the right of the entrance, next to a flower pot.
  2. The second is hidden behind a pillar in the room’s center, revealing an Advanced Supply Chest.
  3. The third chest can be found near a flower pot on the west side of the room.
  4. The final treasure chest is located at the back of the room beside a lamp.

Your next adventure leads to the third floor of the Echo Depository, where the second Treasure Spot lies. Players should utilize the Resonance Beacon located at the entrance of this tower and make their way inside, where an elevator awaits to the left. Be aware that the lobby is often swarmed with enemies, so clearing them out before boarding the elevator is highly recommended.

Once players ascend to the third floor, they will find a series of stairs that lead further into the area. Continue along the designated path to reach the Treasure Spot, making sure to pick up additional treasure chests found along the way, which do not count toward the Spot’s totals.

In this room, you can collect four treasure chests by following these steps:

  1. Access the right side of the room to find a chest concealed behind a pillar.
  2. Near the stairs, another chest can be spotted.
  3. Next, head to the left side of the room to find another chest nestled near a pillar.
  4. The last Advanced Supply Chest is close to the holographic Echo display at the room’s entrance.

The final Treasure Spot within Vault Underground can be discovered in the Unknown Vault Area. Access to this location is granted by advancing in the Silent as a Falling Leaf Exploration Quest. Players should warp to the nearby Resonance Beacon and enter the vault, subsequently following the only visible route.

As players navigate through the ruins, they will encounter a gap that needs to be crossed to reach the opposite side. While the rocks in the middle cannot be climbed, players can scale the rocks to the left of the pillars to gain height before jumping onto the elevated structure. Continue onward along this path until you arrive at the Treasure Spot.

Similar to other towers, the Unknown Vault Area is populated with Echoes that present a challenge to players. It is advisable to eliminate these entities before attempting to access the chests. Caution is advised as a Mimic Echo lurks among the treasure, disguised as a regular chest and ready to surprise unsuspecting players. In total, excluding the Mimic Echo, there are four treasure chests available to claim in this room:

  1. The first Advanced Supply Chest is located near the musical instrument at the front of the room.
  2. Travel deeper into the room to find another chest behind a table.
  3. Directly across from the last chest is a Basic Supply Chest.
  4. Finally, explore behind the bar for a Standard Supply Chest.
