The Red Clad Lady is one of the first non-playable characters (NPCs) players will encounter in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Although enigmatic and reserved in her communication, her intriguing presence invites players to explore her background and quest further.
While the side quest associated with her is relatively straightforward, the process can still be extensive due to its final tasks being allocated toward the endgame. This guide offers a comprehensive walkthrough on how to successfully complete the quest given by the Red Clad Lady.
Initiating the Red Clad Lady Quest

Players will first meet the Red Clad Lady at the beginning of the game, specifically located to the west of Shu Sanctum as you advance towards the initial significant boss, Master Raider.
Approach her, as she is sitting on a large rock beside the river. Engage in conversation and exhaust her dialogue options to learn more about the Feathering. As a reward, she will grant you Full Grown Red Mercury, an item beneficial for enhancing your gameplay.
Meeting Red Clad Lady at Doomwillow Beach
After defeating Blightweaver, the next encounter with the Red Clad Lady occurs at Doomwillow Beach, located halfway through the level right before the Reborn Treant boss. Look for her near a distinctive glowing red tree.
To easily locate her, pay attention to a bridge constructed from upright sticks—knocking down this bridge will lead you directly to her location.
In close proximity, you’ll also find the White-Robed Elder near the Doomwillow Beach Shrine. Once you reach her, ensure you exhaust her dialogue thoroughly. She will further elaborate on the Feathering and describe it as an unfortunate state of being.
Before you leave, she will bestow upon you Divine Might, an immensely useful spell that significantly amplifies the attack power of your next strike, particularly advantageous in boss confrontations.
Encountering Red Clad Lady at Avian Dwelling

Your adventure continues as you locate the Red Clad Lady beside the Avian Dwelling Shrine. Once again, converse with her and ensure you complete all dialogue sequences to progress.
Here, she rewards you with the Divine Blessing spell, one of the rare healing abilities within the game.Divine Blessing enables players to summon an ancient magical circle that gradually restores health.
Confronting Bo Magus

The thrilling culmination of the story occurs during a boss fight against Bo Magus, who is one of the toughest challenges players will face. However, specific conditions must be met to engage in this encounter.
First, you must reach the endgame area of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, specifically within the realm known as “Worship’s Rise in Ruins.” Additionally, prior to this encounter, take on and defeat the optional boss, Vermillion Feathers. This adversary can be found near the Palace Pass shrine, located to the west of Shu Sanctum in the aforementioned area.
During your approach, be aware that Red Clad Lady may try to impede your progress with her magical assaults from afar.
Upon vanquishing Vermillion Feathers, a massive doorway will manifest in the boss arena. Crossing this threshold transports players to a new section within Worship’s Rise in Ruins.
When you respawn in this new area, promptly activate the nearby shrine and venture left into a cave until you finally encounter the formidable Bo Magus. Defeating her will allow you to claim the completion of the Red Clad Lady’s quest in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
