Wrestling veteran breaks silence after Jade Cargill’s debut; praises WWE’s Women’s division
After witnessing Jade Cargill’s debut and the impact she has had on the women’s division, former WWE head writer Vince Russo expressed his admiration. He was highly impressed with her addition to the promotion’s female roster.
During last Friday’s episode of SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis made an exciting announcement for the blue brand. He welcomed their newest addition, Jade Cargill, to the WWE universe. The 31-year-old wrestler made her way to the ring and delivered a powerful promo, sending a warning to the entire division. Later on, Cargill also made her presence known in the main event, coming to the aid of Bianca Belair and Naomi as they were attacked by Damage CTRL.
Russo utilized Twitter to express his opinions about the latest episode. He made note of Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Cargill, stating that they possessed the ideal appearance for the industry. Furthermore, he observed that all three women exuded the appearance of true athletes.
“Just finished watching [WWE] SmackDown – [Jade Cargill], [Naomi], and [Bianca Belair]. Now then there ladies look like not only WRESTLERS, but WORLD-CLASS ATHLETES. Kudos—Work, Discipline and Dedication.”
Dutch Mantell shares positive thoughts on WWE and Jade Cargill
Dutch Mantell, a former WWE employee, also commended the company’s approach to booking the women’s roster.
“Remember a year or so ago, when the women’s division was in chaos? They had really nobody, They didn’t know what to do with it. Of course, it was under a different regime, I understand that. But now, they’re packed. They’re jammed. Like the men’s division, they’re jammed and they got angles on top of angles. And with the girls, now they got a really, really good all-female cast. I just hope they can do some really good stories with it. They got the talent now, so let’s see what they do with it,”Mantell said.
Jade Cargill made a lasting impression at the Royal Rumble, and her success has led to an even bigger opportunity at WrestleMania. Alongside Belair and Naomi, she will face off against Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane at The Show of Shows.
