Wrestling veteran Konnan believes that there is a possibility that the WWE Universe could eventually turn against Cody Rhodes.

Rhodes is currently considered to be the leading fan favorite in WWE. He has united the organization’s top wrestlers in opposition to the Bloodline and is determined to defeat Roman Reigns and claim the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania XL.

During a recent episode of Keepin’ It 100, Konnan expressed his belief that while the fans may currently support The American Nightmare, they could potentially turn against him in the future. He elaborated on this by mentioning that during a recent episode of RAW, WWE may have dropped some significant hints when The Rock whispered something to Cody.

“A great visual which shows the hold that he has with the crowd when everybody is pointing to the WrestleMania sign with Cody. I can just see these same people turning on him in a year or two. I just hope that this isn’t like the devil storyline in AEW, where at the end you’re like, ‘Really, this is who it is?’ Whatever he whispered into his ears, not whack, because to me, it’s become one of the strongest components of the story,”he said.
