Building on the foundations of its predecessor, developer Bugbear Entertainment is crafting a sequel that will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Known for its demolition derby gameplay where players compete by inflicting damage on each other’s vehicles, Wreckfest 2 will feature both a single-player campaign and online multiplayer modes. According to their Steam post, players can expect an extensive physics overhaul, various racing circuits accommodating up to 23 players, and a promise of new cars and vehicles evolving over time as the game progresses. The trailer itself, which lasts under a minute, showcases intense gameplay moments, including smashing derby cars and crashing into hazards like towering piles of tires.
