As players eagerly anticipate the latest World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, a newly unveiled mount found in the Public Test Realm hints at the introduction of the secretive fifth Goblin Cartel, identified as Darkfuse Solutions. While this isn’t definitive proof, it suggests that players might soon ally with Gallywix’s enforcers during this new update.

This patch is set to incorporate the Cartels of Undermine, a new open-world Renown faction, which consists of four established Goblin Cartels: Bilgewater, Blackwater, Steamwheedle, and the Venture Co. Players will be able to pledge allegiance to one Cartel each week, increasing their reputation and allowing progress on the global Cartel Renown track. Blizzard has hinted at the inclusion of a secret fifth Goblin Cartel, provoking speculation among the community.

Recent discoveries by Wowhead within the WoW Patch 11.1 PTR have pointed to Darkfuse Solutions as the probable secret faction. They unearthed the Darkfuse Spy-Eye, a new mount that drops from the Darkfuse Precipitant, a rare elite creature with an undisclosed spawning method. These rare spawns in Undermine require players to be affiliated with one of the main Cartels for summoning, leading many to believe that players must be pledged to Darkfuse Solutions, a faction that can be unlocked by achieving Exalted status through an achievement titled “A Long Fuse.”

Darkfuse Solutions: The Rumored Secret Fifth Cartel

Darkfuse Solutions represents a fresh cadre of Goblins introduced during the War Within storyline. Different from the similarly named Blackfuse, who collaborated with Garrosh in Mists of Pandaria, Darkfuse is a private security firm supporting Gallywix in various mercenary roles. Although they appear predominantly as antagonists in the update, the faction’s description hints that players will have opportunities to collaborate with them, especially after the Gallywix encounter in the new “Liberation of Undermine”raid.

Darkfuse Solutions did not make friends working for Gallywix, but giving up isn’t the goblin way. They’re back with a new brand, a new attitude, and hey, it was just business, right?

How players will interface with Darkfuse Solutions remains uncertain. It is anticipated that access to this faction will be granted following the completion of the raid, allowing players to select them alongside the other four Undermine Cartels. Although it’s a stretch, the Renown track for Darkfuse could potentially expand to encompass multiple tiers, akin to the 25 ranks featured in The Severed Threads Renown factions from WoW: The War Within.
