Explore the New Campsites in Patch 11.1
Now that Patch 11.1 is live on the Public Test Realm, players can dive deeper into this novel feature. Alongside the classic Adventurer’s Rest — the initial Warband character selection screen — players can collect four new campsites: Ohn’ahran Overlook, Cultists’ Quay, Freywold Spring, and Gallagio Grand Gallery. Notably, WoW content creator MrGM has published a video showcasing these campsites and the means to unlock them.

Campsite | Description | Unlock Criteria |
---|---|---|
Ohn’ahran Overlook | Centaur camp located in the Ohn’ahran Plains | Login after Patch 11.1 |
Freywold Spring | Hot spring in Freywold Village, Isle of Dorn | Complete “All That Khaz”meta-achievement from The War Within |
Cultists’ Quay | Nightfall Sanctum Delve in Hallowfall | Earned through Season 2’s Delver’s Journey |
Gallagio Grand Gallery | Gallywix’s casino located in Undermine | Complete “Racing to a Revolution”meta-achievement from Undermined |
Adventurer’s Rest | The original Warbands campsite | Default |
The Ohn’ahran Overlook campsite, which highlights the stunning Ohn’ahran Plains, is automatically granted to players logging in post-Patch 11.1. Players can unlock Cultists’ Quay by progressing through the Delver’s Journey associated with Season 2. Additionally, Freywold Spring and the Gallagio Grand Gallery require completion of the All That Khaz and Racing to a Revolution meta-achievements, respectively.
Players can now find these campsites, along with their unlock conditions, on a new tab within the Collections pane for easy navigation and previewing. Furthermore, the character select screen features a dedicated campsites tab that allows players to either select a campsite for their characters or enjoy a random favorite background each time they log in.
This new character selection customization builds directly on the Warbands system introduced in World of Warcraft: The War Within, highlighting Blizzard’s commitment to continuous improvement of this feature. Gamers can anticipate unlocking various campsites alongside other collectibles, such as mounts and pets, as more content is rolled out in the future. The potential for additional campsites through older areas, holiday events, the Trading Post, and even the cash shop adds further excitement to player personalization.
