New Features Gradually Rolling Out to the Beta Channel*
Enhanced File Sharing in Windows
Transferring files within Windows is now streamlined with the introduction of a new drag tray feature. While dragging a file from the desktop or File Explorer, users will notice a convenient tray appearing at the top of the screen. This allows for easy dropping of files into specific applications, or access to the “More…” option to utilize the Windows share window.

Improvements on the Start Menu
Two exciting new views—Grid and Category—are being added to the “All” page within the Start menu. This enhancement enables users to view apps both in alphabetical order or grouped by category based on their usage patterns. This rollout is ongoing; hence, some users may not see these changes immediately. The new views are aimed at enhancing navigation for Windows Insiders receiving updates aligned with Windows 11, version 24H2.
