Latest Windows Insider Builds: Enhancements and Fixes Introduced
This week, Microsoft rolled out two new builds for Windows Insiders, targeting both the Dev Channel and Beta Channel. Insiders in the Dev Channel can now access build 26200.5651
, while those in the Beta Channel can grab 26120.4441
. These updates include several noteworthy enhancements aimed at improving user experience across context menus, the calendar clock, Recall features, and the Settings app.

New Features for Recall in the European Economic Area
One significant addition is found in the Recall feature, which now requires users in the European Economic Area to save a unique code during initial setup. This code is essential for exporting snapshots to third-party applications and websites and is only displayed once, so users are advised to store it securely. Be mindful that the recent updates will reset Recall, impacting all previously stored snapshots.

Innovations in Click to Do and Calendar Features
The updates also introduce enhancements in Click to Do, allowing users to send text or images directly to Microsoft 365 Copilot. This functionality now facilitates actions such as scheduling meetings or sending messages on Teams with ease.

Additionally, Windows 11 users will be pleased to find a highly requested feature: the option to display seconds in the calendar clock. Unlike in Windows 10, this new feature is customizable, allowing users to toggle the display of seconds via the date and time settings.

Key Changes in Recent Builds
Noteworthy modifications in the recent builds include:
- Context menus now feature dividers for common file actions.
- Sharing files via OneDrive now offers additional options such as Nearby Sharing and integration with third-party applications.
- Windows activation and expiration dialogs have received a visual overhaul.
