  • Investigations are underway regarding a slowdown when closing File Explorer for some Insiders using the close (X) button, which may also affect other title bar functionalities.

  • A known issue exists where the new enterprise-specific device information and accessibility preference cards are mistakenly appearing on unmanaged PCs with Microsoft accounts.

Exciting Update for Paint: AI Features Added

In a separate update, Microsoft has rolled out enhancements for Paint, specifically version 11.2412.271.0, which incorporates a new menu dedicated to AI-driven features. This allows users in the Beta and Release Preview Channels to streamline their image editing processes.

For Paint users (version 11.2412.271.0 and higher), a new Copilot menu has been introduced to facilitate access to intelligent features designed to expedite image generation and editing tasks. By clicking the Copilot icon on the toolbar, users will discover a dropdown menu that includes tools such as Cocreator, Image Creator, Generative Erase, and Remove Background. Please note that the Cocreator feature is exclusive to Copilot+ PC users. Each tool within the dropdown is accompanied by a brief description, aiding users in selecting the appropriate functionality for their needs.
