Microsoft’s Surprising Removal of Intel WeUs for Windows 11 24H2
In a recent shake-up, Microsoft has notably excluded several Intel processor models from its support list for Windows 11 24H2, despite these models meeting the official system requirements criteria. This decision marks a significant shift in the company’s support strategy for these processors, leaving many users questioning the implications for their hardware.
Processors Dropped from Support
The categories affected include the Ice Lake U and Y series, as well as Comet Lake processors from Intel’s 10th generation, both desktop and mobile variants. Additionally, support for the previously established 8th and 9th generation processors, known as Coffee Lake, has also been withdrawn.
