Microsoft just released the first cumulative update to Windows 11 beta a month later. The latest build is an incremental update from last month’s build 22621. The new update is marked with Windows 11 version number 22621.160 (KB5014770). The new build contains some new features, improvements and fixes. Microsoft is releasing a new cumulative update with build number 10.0.22621.160 (KB5014770). This is a small incremental update that you can quickly install on your computer. The firm has begun testing File Explorer tabs with cumulative preview updates. File explorer tab testing started last week with Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25136. And now it’s time for the beta channel, if all goes well, the new feature will hit the preview channel soon and then the stable channel.
Thanks to the new Explorer tabs, users can work on multiple tasks at the same time, the File Explorer title bar gets a new tabbed feature. Not only that, but some changes to the file explorer that comes with an updated left navigation bar layout, the updated section gives you easy access to your pinned and frequently used folders (quick access) and your OneDrive cloud profiles.
In addition to the updated File Explorer tabs, the update contains improvements and fixes. This time, Microsoft did not share a detailed changelog, but did share a known issue available in File Explorer tabs.

- The up arrow has been shifted on Explorer tabs. This will be fixed in a future update.
If you have joined the Insider Preview beta channel and are running Windows 11, you will receive a new preview build. You can simply go to Settings > Windows Update > click on Check for Updates. You can simply download the update to your computer.
