“Why is Everyone Upset with Puff Diddy?” – Tokyo Toni Suggests Diddy Was Misled, Argues His Victims ‘Shouldn’t Have Been Present’ Initially

Tokyo Toni, the mother of model and TV personality Blac Chyna, recently spoke out about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ current legal challenges, alleging that he was “set up” and demanding his freedom. She expressed her support for Diddy amidst his ongoing issues.

“We know what’s happening. The real ones. Yeah. Free Puffy. Get them on out of here. Why is everybody mad at Puff? Every celebrity in the world, in the United States, points a finger at the man who they know has done this 5, 10, 15 years ago. What a set up,” Tokyo Toni stated.

The 52-year-old further claimed that people seem unable to “snatch” Diddy and questioned the credibility of the alleged victims, stating that “any girl who reportedly got r*ped shouldn’t have been there.” Tokyo Toni, whose birth name is Shalana Jones Hunter, also cast doubt on the alleged victims’ accounts, asking, “So, nobody saw him leaning? You ain’t voluntarily walked. They just grabbed you and snatched you and threw you in the back?”

She concluded by drawing parallels between Diddy’s situation and that of R. Kelly, the former record producer currently serving over 30 years in prison on charges including racketeering and s*x trafficking.

Diddy is Anticipated to Testify at His Upcoming Trial

Sean Combs was taken into custody by federal agents at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City on September 16 after a grand jury indictment. He is confronting three felony charges: racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution.

Diddy was arraigned in Manhattan Federal Court on September 17, where he was denied bail on two occasions despite pleading “not guilty.” He is currently detained at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, held without bond and under a “procedural” suicide watch until the trial begins. If found guilty, he faces a sentence ranging from 15 years to life in federal prison.

In related news, his attorney Marc Agnifilo informed TMZ, as part of the ongoing documentary The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, that the Bad Boy Records mogul is expected to testify in his upcoming trial.

“I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand. I think he is very eager to tell his story,” Agnifilo commented.

The defense attorney also indicated that it is unlikely Diddy will accept a plea deal, stating that his client “believes he’s innocent.”

“It’s not up to me. It’s up to Mr. Combs and I don’t see it happening… He believes that he needs to stand up not just for himself (but) for his family and for everybody who’s been targeted by the federal government,” Marc mentioned.

He explained that Diddy “feels an obligation” to his loved ones and aims to “break the model” and “show the world that a Black man can win in federal court.”

Marc Agnifilo also revealed that Diddy plans to testify and “tell every part of his story,” especially regarding the viral 2016 hotel surveillance video with his former girlfriend, R&B singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.

“He has his story. And he has a story that I think only he can tell in the way he can tell it in real-time. And it’s a human story. It’s a story of love, it’s a story of hurt, it’s a story of heartbreak,”the attorney added.

Meanwhile, following his arrest and indictment, Sean Combs has faced two additional lawsuits. The first, filed in New York by Thalia Graves on September 24, accuses Diddy and his former bodyguard, Joseph Sherman, of drugging her drink and raping her in 2001 when she was 25 years old.

On September 27, another lawsuit was filed by a woman referred to as Jane Doe, who claims that Diddy drugged and s*xually assaulted her multiple times, alleging that one encounter resulted in pregnancy. She is seeking unspecified damages.

Diddy’s legal team plans to contest the denials of his bail at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is expected to appear in federal court on October 9.
