Shailla Khan, who starred in Kim Taehyung’s FRI(END)S music video alongside her husband Shaz Khan, discussed her experience working with the idol and shared about their brief conversation. The couple is originally from India and currently lives in the United Kingdom.

Despite being a member of the K-pop group BTS, the vocalist has also established himself as a prominent figure in the music industry through his solo music. He has garnered a massive fanbase worldwide, with India being one of the countries that has millions of devoted BTS ARMYs.

Shailla Khan expressed her adoration for BTS and discussed the singer’s immense fame in the area. She stated,

“People from India and the whole of Asia absolutely adore you” .

Shailla Khan discussed Indian fans with Kim Taehyung, who responded with a smile and a nod, acknowledging the love from his fans. He also shared his intentions to visit India.

She inquired,

“Any plans to come to India?”

He was asked, and in response he said,

“Ya Ya.. for sure.. for sure.”

The Indian Couple’s Interaction in BTS’s Kim Taehyung’s FRI(END)S: A Deeper Look

On March 15, Kim Taehyung released the much-awaited music video for his latest single FRI(END)S. The video quickly gained popularity on the internet, and fans were buzzing about its unique concept.

Under the direction of Samuel Bradley, the video for Slow Dancing showcased British actress Ruby Sear alongside several actors portraying couples. One of the couples featured was Indian, bringing joy to many Desi fans as they saw representation of their culture in Kim Taehyung’s music video. Most recently, Shailla Khan shared her experience of meeting and interacting with Kim Taehyung on Instagram.

During filming, the Layover singer appeared shy and did not engage with anyone. However, during a 40-minute break, he surprised everyone by turning to the couple he had filmed with and asking them some questions.

Kim Taehyung inquired about their relationship and upon learning that they were a genuine couple, he asked about their origins. They replied that they were from India and added that they were not trained actors.

Soon after, V inquired about Indian cuisine and asked for recommendations. Shailla Khan suggested Panipuri, a popular Indian street food.

Before this, fans had spotted Kim Taehyung walking through a mart where he explored a section filled with Indian snacks and food items. On March 19, 2024, he released a behind-the-scenes video titled V ‘FRI(END)S’ MV Making Film on the YouTube channel BANGTANTV.

While watching the unseen clips, viewers caught a glimpse of The Rainy Days singer at a grocery store in London, holding the popular Indian noodles Maggi. In addition, he could be seen strolling down the aisle, playfully offering snacks to the crew and staff members, showcasing his goofy side.

The mart also contained departments with a variety of other snacks, including Lay’s, Kissan Jam, and others. Indian fans took to the internet to share their enthusiasm for the inclusion of additional Indian snacks.

The BTS member made an appearance in the audience at the Hana Bank K League 2024 home match on March 31, 2024. The match was the fourth round between FC Seoul and Gangwon FC, which took place at Chuncheon’s Songam Sports Town Main Stadium. The K-pop idol was seen wearing his army uniform, accompanied by his fellow troops.

V is currently enlisted in the military and serving as a member of the Special Duty Team.
