Mondo, co-founder of YSL (Young Stoner Life Records), is creating a buzz on social media after sharing a video where he claims Offset once confronted him about messaging Cardi B. This clip was shared by Say Cheese! on their official page on X (formerly Twitter). Mondo, whose real name is Fremondo Crenshaw, expressed his feelings towards Offset with the following statement:
“Man, this b*tch called my phone man. Damn bro why you playing with a n*gga? Ayy this on God don’t let me wake up tomorrow if I’m lying.”
As a musical artist, Mondo made it clear to Offset that he would prefer not to receive any calls from him. He stated:
“We ain’t gon’ do that Tinder man. We ain’t gon’ do that ’cause I know what I’m sayin’? Don’ get mad ’cause I smacked one of your baby mama and I tried to f*ck I ain’t gonna say f*ck take that back cause there ain’t no disrespect to Cardi but I really would just let her know man you need a real n*gga in yo life.”
Mondo claimed that Offset was unhappy about his interaction with Cardi B and that he was not aware of her relationship with Offset. He added:
“I don’t even know you boy. Put this on your kids boy you don’t know me. When I first started talking to shia my boy, boy used to pillow talk, used to throw salt and say all type of s*cker sideways a*s sh*t. But you been knowing me through long way them you’ve been knowing me and we ain’t gonna speak on the street.”
Offset Receives Support from Shya L’Amour in Response to YSL Mondo’s Video
While Cardi B and Offset have yet to publicly react to Mondo’s video, Shya L’Amour, who is reportedly the mother of one of Offset’s children, came to his defense. She went live on Instagram and her remarks were later shared through Live Bitez.
During her live session, Shya accused Mondo of seeking attention and added:
“Put a b*tch up in a warehouse somewhere, do something other than talk about who’s sleeping with who.”
Mondo made headlines recently after voicing his support for Gunna, who received a five-year sentence due to RICO charges in 2022. He addressed the situation on his Instagram Story, stating:
“I’m man enough to say I should’ve never spoken about the Gunna situation because technically he didn’t rat. He just kinda folded under pressure & should’ve just stayed down with his mans till everything was over cause all the originals know he ain’t did nothing wasn’t even around from the beginning.”
Over the years, Mondo has faced various legal challenges and was arrested in August 2023 for violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. According to Complex, authorities found multiple weapons, drugs, and cash at his home.
Despite being recognized as a co-founder of YSL, Mondo has not been implicated in the ongoing RICO case up until now. His comments regarding Gunna were a continuation of his earlier criticism about Gunna’s plea deal made in January of the previous year.
