Players have multiple ways to customize their loadout for missions in Freedom Wars Remastered. While significant changes to your arsenal, such as weaponry and Thrones, may occur less frequently, Combat Items present numerous usage possibilities and generally have limited availability.
Throughout gameplay, you will occasionally acquire additional Combat Items by completing various operations. However, the quantities may not always be sufficient for your next mission. In the early game, players can only equip one Combat Item at a time. Below, we address how to expand your Combat Item capacity and increase your inventory.
Equipping More Combat Items in Freedom Wars Remastered
To increase the number of Combat Items you can equip, you need to obtain the appropriate Entitlements. While in your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and select “Claim Entitlements”. Navigate to the Equipment section, then scroll right to find the One-Item Permit option at the top. The subsequent permits will enable you to equip additional Combat Items, allowing you to reach a maximum of four.
These story-based permit limitations can be quickly achieved, and you should be able to purchase all four permits upon reaching CODE level 3. Keep in mind, later permits won’t be visible until you acquire their preceding counterparts. When you equip a Combat Item, you can utilize the entire stack, meaning if you opt for a Frag Grenade, you’ll have access to all units available at the beginning of that operation.
Moreover, your Accessory can also hold one Combat Item, adding another layer of strategy to your gameplay.
Acquiring Additional Combat Items in Freedom Wars Remastered
A valuable location for obtaining Combat Items is the Zakka store, conveniently located on the right side of The Warren, on the upper level. While this store offers various weapons, you can also opt for the Buy Items feature to access the Munitions and Medical Supplies sections.
- Munitions: Items that directly inflict damage on opponents during combat.
- Medical Supplies: Items that heal, cure ailments, or replenish ammunition.
Individuals prices are set for each Combat Item, which can accumulate significant costs in Entitlement Points if you opt to stockpile certain supplies, such as Medkits. Thus, consider donating surplus resources to afford essential items. Although Combat Items may also serve as operation rewards, relying solely on this method can be inefficient due to the time investment and the consumption of more items than you are rewarded.
