In the expansive world of Monster Hunter Wilds, players encounter a myriad of materials essential for crafting high-rank armor and powerful weapons. Among these, the Firecell Stone is a key resource that armor enthusiasts will inevitably seek out.
Finding Firecell Stones is straightforward once you know the right locations. The primary area to search for this valuable material is the Oilwell Basin biome. Below, you’ll discover essential insights on how to locate Firecell Stone effectively in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Locating Firecell Stone in Monster Hunter Wilds
Firecell Stones are obtained by mining from Mining Nodes, identified by blue mining icons on your in-game map. As of this writing, we cannot list every possible location for this material; however, we can confirm several reliable spots where players can consistently gather Firecell Stone.
To successfully gather Firecell Stone, explore the intense environment of the Oilwell Basin. This resource appears to be exclusive to this region and is considerably rarer than its similarly named counterpart, Firestone.

We have identified two prime areas within the Oilwell Basin for harvesting Firecell Stone:
- Oilwell Basin Area 16: Home to six Mining Nodes capable of yielding Firecell Stones.
- Oilwell Basin Area 17: A secondary location for potential mining finds.

To gather Firecell Stones, approach a Mining Node either on foot or by riding your Seikret, and press ‘B’ to start mining. Notably, each Mining Node can be mined three times before it is exhausted, allowing you to accumulate multiple Firecell Stones in a relatively short period.
