When Cynthia Calvillo’s boyfriend Mitch Ramirez accused Conor McGregor of foul play in raging TUF drama
Cynthia Calvillo, a top contender in the UFC women’s strawweight division, is in a relationship with Mitch Ramirez who is one of the most promising up-and-coming fighters in the organization. Ramirez, also known as ‘The Fight Stalker’, recently made his debut in the promotion at UFC Vegas 88 where he suffered a third-round knockout loss to Thiago Moises.
Despite being selected to compete on The Ultimate Fighter 31 with Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler as opposing coaches, Ramirez’s debut was put on hold. While many believed he would excel on the popular UFC reality show, he was ultimately removed from the roster prior to filming.
The blame was placed on ‘The Notorious’ for the incident.
After the event, Ramirez claimed that McGregor had used his power to eliminate him from the show. The potential contestant stated that McGregor had wanted to include some of his personally chosen fighters on the show, resulting in the removal of three participants. Unfortunately, Ramirez was one of those affected.
During a May interview with Fight Fluency last year, Ramirez provided a detailed account of how he was notified of his removal from the show, stating:
“One of the producers came in and he just, he looked upset… What he told me is that, ‘Conor landed today and he brought two of his guys with him. He’s demanding they’re on the show… Unfortunately, you have the least amount of fights on your record, so you’re being replaced.’”

Mitch Ramirez Accuses Dana White of Breaking Promises
Despite being removed from The Ultimate Fighter 31, Mitch Ramirez remained determined and focused. He took part in an XMMA event in May of last year and emerged victorious with a third-round TKO against Jeremie Holloway.
Following the fight, Ramirez used the opportunity to publicly criticize Conor McGregor for his alleged actions and chastise Dana White for appearing to break his promise. During the post-fight interview, ‘The Fight Stalker’ took the opportunity to express his thoughts, stating:
“I was supposed to be on The Ultimate Fighter and I lost my spot because Conor McGregor came in with a couple of his little cronies and kicked me out last second. Dana White, you said that you were gonna give guys like me an opportunity in the UFC. I’m asking you now, please, give me my opportunity. I belong in the UFC.”
