“What parent allows their 11yr old to watch this” – Former UFC star recounts popular 2000s horror film giving her “nightmares for weeks as a kid”
Megan Anderson, a former UFC fighter, recently expressed her opinions on Jeepers Creepers, a well-known horror film series from the 2000s.
A user with an X account, @1carolinagirl, posted a GIF from the first movie in the series. This post caught the attention of the Australian fighter, who then shared her own personal experience with the franchise.
As a child, Anderson shared that she had nightmares after watching the first two movies in the series. The 34-year-old then playfully scolded her parents for letting her watch those scary films when she was so young.

Despite some ups and downs, Anderson’s career in the UFC was overall successful. She entered the top MMA promotion at age 34 after compiling a professional record of 8-2 and made her debut in June 2018.
Despite losing her debut match to MMA veteran Holly Holm via unanimous decision, the Australian fighter rebounded with a TKO victory against Cat Zingano in December 2018.
Despite facing another obstacle in her next bout, Anderson was able to bounce back with consecutive wins against Zarah Fairn and Norma Dumont. These impressive performances granted the Australian a chance to challenge Amanda Nunes for the bantamweight championship at UFC 259.
The match was brief as Anderson was defeated in the first round by submission. As a result, the Australian and the promotion went their separate ways soon after.
Megan Anderson Discusses Upcoming Fight Against Kayla Harrison at UFC 300
The highly anticipated UFC 300 event, set to take place on April 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, will mark Kayla Harrison’s UFC debut against Holly Holm.
Ahead of the fight, Megan Anderson expressed her worries about Harrison’s bantamweight debut in a video uploaded to her YouTube channel. This weight class is new territory for the Olympic gold medalist, who has not competed at bantamweight before. Anderson shared her thoughts on the matter, stating:
“With those weight cuts, will the strength be there? She likes to use her strength, she likes to use her physical prowess in her fights, but will that still be there dropping to a weight class that she’s never dropped before?”
