Shazam! actor Zachary Levi has publically supported Donald Trump for president. During a rally in Michigan on Saturday, September 28, 2024, the DC star made an unexpected appearance and referred to his role in Shazam! to express his support for the former POTUS.
Levi opened his speech by stating, “I just want to give you a little context about why Shazam is sitting here talking to you about these various things,”sharing insights from his upbringing in a Christian conservative family. He also mentioned his alignment with Bobby Kennedy, Tulsi Gabbard, and all individuals endorsing Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, reactions from fans on social media have been mixed regarding the actor’s choice to openly support Trump.

During his unexpected appearance at the Trump rally, Zachary Levi elaborated on his reasons for supporting the twice-impeached president in the upcoming election. He stated:
“We’re here to make sure that we are going to take back this country, we are going to make it great again, we are going to make it healthy again.”
Addressing who could help achieve these goals, the Harold and the Purple Crayon actor commented:
“I do believe, of the two choices that we have, and we only have two, Donald Trump, President Trump is the man to get us there.”
He further explained that Trump possesses the necessary support, wisdom, knowledge, and “the fight that exists in Robert Kennedy Jr. and former representative Tulsi Gabbard.”Zachary Levi made his political stance known after his initial candidate, Kennedy Jr., suspended his campaign and backed Trump.
