For those unfamiliar with the situation, the rapper, famous for hits like “Thotiana,”was taken into custody in January 2024 for breaching the terms of his probation related to a 2022 Las Vegas shooting incident. A judge had previously placed him on a three-year probation.

After the probation violation linked to a separate assault case, Blueface received a four-year prison sentence in August.

As his announcement circulated online, many social media users quickly reacted. One commenter remarked:

“Nah, bruh… We good out here. Extend your stay.”

Some keen-eyed users noticed the misspelling of “be”as “ce”in Blueface’s story. This phrasing was recognized as a slang associated with the School Yard Crips, a gang with which Porter is connected. Here are some comments observed on the Instagram account of @theneighborhoodtalk:

Blueface’s manager previously projected a 10-month prison stay

In November 2022, law enforcement arrested Blueface concerning a shooting incident that occurred at a Las Vegas strip club the prior month. He faced serious charges, including attempted murder and the use of a deadly weapon.

A year after these events, Clark County Judge Kathleen Delaney issued a three-year probation sentence, warning that any breach could result in two to five years of imprisonment.

However, following the release of a viral video that showed the rapper directing his fiancée to assault a fan during a performance, the judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest this year.

In July 2024, Judge Delaney adjusted the rapper’s sentence, allowing him a three-year probation period while mandating a 30-day prison term, taking into account his previous time served.

Despite this, Blueface remained imprisoned for violating probation conditions related to a 2021 incident where he assaulted a security guard outside a nightclub in Los Angeles. In August, he was sentenced to four years in confinement for that violation.

At the time, his manager Wack 100 noted to TMZ that he had previously managed to secure a suspended sentence for Blueface. However, after the rapper was found with drug paraphernalia, the judge had no choice but to impose the maximum penalty.

Wack 100 estimated that Blueface would be out in approximately 10 months, having already served 440 days in jail.

Recently, the rapper posted photos from prison on his Instagram with the caption:

“Am I missing out or y’all missing me?”

The snapshots highlight a smiling Blueface.

Currently, he is incarcerated at the North Kern State Prison located in central California.
