Upon hearing players’ opinions on the new Hand Cannon, Reddit users u/funnyghostman and u/DangerousPen5709 noted similarities to the Night Hawk, an Exotic version of the Scoped Revolver in Fortnite. They suggested that the Hand Cannon, equipped with Weapon Mods, could potentially serve as a more affordable alternative to the Night Hawk.

At the same time, u/Supertayten, a Reddit user, pointed out that the Hand Cannon has minimal bullet drop, making it a standout among the current weapons found in the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 loot pool.
