The Unlikely Wedding of Lee Ji-han and A-jeong in Wedding Impossible
As the last episode of Wedding Impossible began, Na A-jeong and Lee Ji-han went about their respective daily routines. While the female lead fulfilled her dream of becoming a renowned actress, the male lead continued to toil in a factory and explore various locations within Wedding Impossible.
As Lee Ji-han made a visit to his mother’s columbarium, he chanced upon meeting Na A-jeong. Despite the heavy rain, the two shared a tearful gaze and sought shelter in a nearby location to have a chat. They caught up on each other’s family updates and how they were doing.
Ji-han took control of the conversation and opened up about discussing himself and A-jeong. A-jeong shared that she had recently landed roles in television shows, to which Ji-han revealed that he had been keeping up with her acting and even watched some of her performances. He also mentioned the success of his new business venture with Taek and his sarcastic determination to challenge the LJ group. A-jeong expressed her concern that Ji-han would be unhappy without her, and he confirmed her suspicions.
Shortly after, it was time for them to depart. Ji-han inquired if he could give A-jeong a ride back to her house, to which she responded that her manager was already waiting for her. She even offered him an umbrella to take along since he had a dislike for rain. Once A-jeong arrived at her home, she had a wonderful evening with her family and reminisced about the time she apologized to Ji-han and D-han’s mother.
Upon arriving at home, Ji-han settled in and tuned in to A-jeong’s drama. He was so invested in the show that he committed her lines to memory, finally admitting that he had been yearning for them all day.
Upon Lee Do-han’s return to Seoul, A-jeong went to the airport to welcome him. She proudly showed off her new car, a symbol of her achievements. They engaged in a friendly conversation.
Upon arriving home, Do-han was greeted by Ji-han who was fast asleep. The two of them then had breakfast and enjoyed a lively conversation.
During their fishing trip, Grandpa presented Ji-han with a ‘forgiving a mistake coupon’ that he had bought from Mr. Kim. He urged Ji-han to forgive the wrongdoings he had done to both him and A-jeong. Additionally, he encouraged Ji-han to date A-jeong, pointing out that they both seemed unhappy without each other.
After arriving at A-jeong’s home, Ji-han attempted to avoid her family members by staying hidden at night. The next morning, A-jeong hurried to her job and discovered him sleeping in his car. She knocked on the car window and he provided excuses for his presence. However, the female protagonist joined him in the car and asked for a ride, as her manager was ill.
As they arrived at the shooting location, Ji-han inquired about the scene the female lead was getting ready for. She revealed it was a kiss scene, causing Ji-han to admit that he felt hurt. Just then, their co-star Ryu Kyung-soo arrived and decided to play a playful trick on A-jeong. This sparked an argument between Ji-han and Ryu as Ji-han’s jealousy got the best of him. However, Taek intervened and took Ji-han away from the set, trying to diffuse the tension in the scene of Wedding Impossible.
As Taek led him to the corner, he expressed his frustration with the large project they were working on. Meanwhile, Ji-ae and Jong-hee played a prank on Ji-han by telling him that A-jeong was in a relationship with Ryu Kyung-soo. After hearing this, Ji-han promptly left the location.
At the same time, Yoon Chae-won attended her final blind date and met Bin Tae-hwan (played by Kim Bum), who introduced himself as the director of TY Construction. He mentioned that he had previously crossed paths with her and overheard a conversation she had with her father. Tae-hwan boldly declared that she no longer needed to go on any more dates as he would be her last one. Despite his words, Chae-won decided to leave. Later on, she grabbed drinks with Ji-han.
During the concluding episode of Wedding Impossible, A-jeong is shown enjoying drinks with her friends Ji-ae and Jong-hee. Together, they disclose the fabricated story they had told Ji-han. Meanwhile, Yoon-chae contacts A-jeong and requests her assistance in taking a drunken Ji-han home.
After Yoon-chae departed, she was approached by Tae-hwan as she strolled by herself. He kindly offered her a ride and professed his love for her, which he had been harboring since their wedding day. Yoon-chae responded with a hint of sarcasm, but Tae-hwan reassured her of her safety. Eventually, she accepted his offer and left with a smile, indicating the blossoming romance between them.
A-jeong brought Ji-han back to her house and put him to bed. While he was drunk, Ji-han admitted that he had watched her drama multiple times and had even memorized her character’s lines, feeling her pain. He even requested her to end her relationship with her boyfriend before passing out. In reply, A-jeong expressed that she felt as though she had traveled back in time.
The next morning, Ji-han awoke from his slumber and remembered everything that had happened. A-jeong then invited him to join her for a meal of pollock soup. While they ate breakfast, she couldn’t resist teasing him about his antics from the previous night.
In Wedding Impossible, Ji-han brought A-jeong back to her house and they were caught by her family. When questioned about their presence together, Ji-han admitted that he still had feelings for A-jeong even after a year of being apart. He took responsibility for his past mistakes and expressed that he couldn’t imagine living without her. To prove his sincerity, Ji-han even offered to cook meals for A-jeong’s family and asked for their acceptance.
As the sun rose, the two of them sat in the park. A-jeong revealed that she had been missing him and had been suppressing her feelings for a while because she couldn’t catch a glimpse of him. She also admitted that she didn’t have a boyfriend and was just teasing him. In response, Ji-han finally proposed to her and suggested that they get married as soon as possible because he couldn’t bear the thought of losing her again. The couple shared multiple kisses in the final episode of Wedding Impossible.
The dynamic of the scene shifted when A-jeong was spotted walking down the aisle with a mysterious individual, portrayed by Lee Soo-hyuk. As she exchanged vows with this person, Ji-han grasped her hands, warning that something would happen. However, he quickly whisked her away with a beaming smile, and the two professed their love for each other’s true selves in the pouring rain. The Wedding Impossible drama concluded on a heartwarming note.
