“We Only Attended House Parties and Gymnasiums” – Jadakiss Reflects on Diddy’s Legendary Parties Before Allegations Emerged

On October 23, 2024, rapper Jadakiss and his son Jaewon made an appearance on Complex’s GOAT Talk, where they shared insights about their experiences at Diddy’s legendary parties during a segment dedicated to discussing the greatest events they’ve attended.

When asked to share his most memorable party experience, Jadakiss responded assertively, stating that the best party he ever attended was undeniably a Diddy-hosted affair. At that time, he was signed with Sean “Diddy”Combs’ Bad Boy Records, a label renowned for hosting some of the most extravagant parties.

“This was way before any allegations surfaced,”Jadakiss recalled, reflecting on simpler times when they would attend house parties and gym events.

Jadakiss elaborated on what made this party so special, describing it as a bash held at the Metrodome, situated on a street in the 20s. He mentioned that this gathering was a launch celebration for a tour, and recalled how their post-party escapade led them on a tour with an abundance of tour buses filling the parking lot.

“He’s receiving a lot of negativity”: Jadakiss addresses allegations against Diddy

Earlier in April 2024, Jadakiss appeared on The Stephen A. Smith Show, where the discussion turned to the investigation by Homeland Security into Diddy’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami, which were raided on March 25, 2024.

Stephen prompted Jadakiss to share his thoughts on the sexual assault allegations against Diddy, alongside the recent raid developments. Jadakiss acknowledged that there are always three perspectives to consider—the alleged perpetrator’s, the victims’, and the undeniable truth. He remarked that everyone would need to see how the situation unfolds.

He further emphasized that the best course of action currently would be to respect privacy and offer prayers for the rapper. “I think he’s getting a lot of neg,”Jadakiss mentioned, alluding to the backlash Diddy is facing.

“I think he’s really facing a lot of negativity, with people taking shots at him during this challenging time,”Jadakiss expressed in his conversation with Stephen.

When asked about the general sentiment within the music industry regarding Diddy during his peak, Jadakiss remarked that many viewed him as a formidable mogul.

He recounted how Diddy rose from being an intern to establishing a billion-dollar record label and was widely cherished for hosting phenomenal parties.

Jadakiss noted that Diddy had a significant impact on his career by offering him his first record deal, humorously commenting that regardless of contract details, it enabled him to participate in Stephen’s show.

In light of his recent legal troubles, a grand jury has indicted the rapper, and he faces a slew of serious charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and facilitating prostitution. Moreover, he has been implicated in multiple lawsuits alleging rape, sexual extortion, and assault.

Texas attorney Tony Buzbee announced in an October 2024 press conference that he represents over 100 plaintiffs claiming sexual assault by Diddy. As of now, the rapper has pleaded not guilty to all accusations and is currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, with a trial anticipated to commence in May 2025.
